Korolyuk Volodymyr Semenovych
The Institute of Mathematics of the NAS of Ukraine with deep sadness and sorrow informs that on April 4, 2020, at the age of 94, a prominent Ukrainian mathematician, Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Volodymyr Semenovych Korolyuk passed away.
His research mainly concerned the field of the Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistics, and Computer Science. His research activity was mainly at the Institute of Mathematics of NAS of Ukraine, where he worked since 1954, and lately he was an advisor to the Director of the Institute.
We extend our most sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the scientist in connection with this irreparable loss.
