Mitropol'skii, Moscow M.V.Lomonosov State University and Steklov Mathematical Institute of Russian Academy of Science are organizing International Conference Differential Equations and Related Topics dedicated to 100-th Anniversary of birthday of prominent mathematician I.G.Petrovskii (1901-1973). The conference will be held in Moscow, Russia, during the period from Tuesday, May 22 to Sunday, May 27, 2001. We expect that the conference will be a mathematical event of the highest level and will collect about 400 actively working specialists in the theory of differential equations, mathematical physics, functional analysis, geometry, numerical methods and other topics related to Petrovskii's works.
