Although starting new journals in general is difficult, we find there is very little demand for new translated journals that have not previously been available in English. As an alternative I would like to explore the possibility of starting the journal as an original English language international journal. With you and Professor Mitropolskii as Editors, and the Editorial Office in Kyiv, we would need to establish a truly international editorial board and encourage contributions from the best authors around the world. In this way we would have the potential to develop a journal that could develop a strong international following, both among readers and authors.
