Tatiana Obikhod (Institute for Nuclear Research of NAS of Ukraine, Kiev, Ukraine) Algebraic geometry and particle physics The purpose of these report is to bring together string theory and mathematical physics with particle phenomenology. These include description of string compactifications such as heterotic strings on CalabiYau 3folds with gauge bundles, Mtheory on G2 holonomy manifolds and Ftheory on CalabiYau 4folds, as well as further exploring the geometric aspects of Dbranes and duality cascades, with an eye towards LHC applications. The goal will be on ways to connect string geometry with the observable phenomenological data expected to emerge from LHC.
