Algebraic geometry and particle physics

The purpose of these report is to bring together string theory and mathematical physics with particle phenomenology. These include description of string compactifications such as heterotic strings on Calabi-Yau 3-folds with gauge bundles, M-theory on G2 holonomy manifolds and F-theory on Calabi-Yau 4-folds, as well as further exploring the geometric aspects of D-branes and duality cascades, with an eye towards LHC applications. The goal will be on ways to connect string geometry with the observable phenomenological data expected to emerge from LHC.
