Stable stationary solutions for a reaction–diffusion equation with a multi-stable nonlinearity

We give a construction of stable stationary solutions for a spatially multi-dimensional discrete reaction–diffusion equation with a multi-stable nonlinearity and a small diffusion constant. The existence of spatial chaos and spatially chaotic solutions is shown. The exact value of the spatial entropy is estimated.
