Extended symmetries of the 3D kinetic electron plasma waves

Abstract:
Lie point symmetries as well as conditional and extended ones are obtained and discussed for the integro differential equations of the kinetic theory of electron plasma waves. Three dimensional in space waves and their reduction to the pure longitudinal one dimensional case are considered. It was shown that previously obtained oscillation symmetries of pure longitudinal waves are the conditional symmetries of the general 3D model. Maple 12 package programs are used to facilitate symmetry investigation in the 3D case. Possible symmetry extensions and their physical reasons are considered.
