Chaotic instantons in periodically perturbed double-well system

Abstract:
Kicked double-well system is investigated using chaotic instanton approach. Phenomenological formula for dependence of ground quasienergy splitting on value and frequency of perturbation is obtained analytically. Results of performed numerical calculations are in good agreement with phenomenological formula.
