The Conference will be held in the city of Děčín (see the picture gallery from the previous conference), Czech Republic, North Bohemia. Lectures will be held in the building of the Děčín branch of the Czech Technical University in Prague. August 14 (Sunday) will be the arrival day. Lecture days are August 15-19. August 20 (Saturday) will be the departure day.

The location is very well suited for this conference. Děčín lies on the Elbe river close to the border with Germany. There are mostly excellent conditions for walks in the immediate surroundings, see english.mmdecin.cz
 

Conference fee and proceedings

A conference fee of EUR 150 will cover the book of abstracts and conference materials, organising costs, coffee breaks and conference dinner. There is an option of EUR 100 conference fee for postdoctoral fellows and students. The conference fee should be paid upon arrival during registration or it can be paid in advance using the following bank information.

Conference participants are invited to submit original papers to the the electronic journal SIGMA (Symmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications). Each paper will pass through the standard peer reviewing procedure of SIGMA. The SIGMA web-page has further information, including instructions for submission of an article.

Accommodation and board

We plan to arrange accommodation for participants in the hotels situated not further than 200 meters from the conference hall. There are several such hotels:

• Sypka student dormitory (no breakfast, two and three bedrooms; 10 and 13 euros per person per night in 3-bedroom and 2-bedroom respectively)
• Hotel Faust (with breakfast; single room 33 euros per person, double room 55 euros)
• Hotel Posta (with breakfast; single room 23 euros per person)

The variety of good restaurants nearby offer an opportunity to taste different dishes and beers. Approximate prices: breakfast - 4 euros, lunch or dinner - 5 euros, beer - 1 euro.

Conference representative with a conference sign will meet participants at the Děčín railway station during the Sunday (August 14th) afternoon, moreover conference information announcements will be repeated at the railway station during all the day.

Děčín is located near the German border, and has a very good railway and highway connection to Berlin (4 hours), Dresden (1 hour) and Prague (1.5 hour).

From Prague airport: Take bus 119 to Dejvicka metro station, then take the metro to the "Holešovice" railway station, and take train to Děčín (see Travel from Prague).

From Prague: There are good connections to Děčín from Prague by train from the Praha Holešovice railway station. The nearest railway station Děčín hlavní nádraží is within walking distance from Sypka (20 minutes). There are public transport buses (number 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 12) in Děčín from the railway station to the Myslbekova bus stop, 200 meters from Sypka.
