Symmetries of Integro-Differential Equations

Abstract:
Ovsiannikov method of finding Lie symmetries is generalized to the case of point transformations of integro-differential equations. The new method is direct and practically applicable, for example to Vlasov-Maxwell equations of plasma. Further generalizations, for example to equation with functional arguments and to Lie-Backlund or conditional symmetries, are possible.
