Compactons, solitons, cuspons and other patterns within the generalized convection-reaction-diffusion model

Abstract:
I will show how the methods of normal forms and other elements of qualitative analysis can help in stating the existence of various, sometimes quite exotic, invariant traveling wave solutions to the hyperbolic generalization of convection-reaction-diffusion equation.
