Graded contraction of the Gall-Mann graded sl(3,C)

Abstract:
We consider graded contractions of the Lie algebra sl(3,C). We present overview of solutions of contraction equations for each of its four fine group gradings. We show the role of symmetry groups of these gradings in the process of solving contraction equations and identification of results. We focus on so called Gall-Mann grading, identify corresponding solutions with Lie algebras and compare these Lie algebras with results of graded contraction from Pauli and Cartan grading of
sl(3,C).
