On the group analysis of delay differential equations

Abstract:
We apply Group analysis to some delay differential equations (DDEs) which arise as models in many physical applications like populations dynamics and bioscience problems and in control problems. A comparison of the group of DDEs is made to the Lie group theory of differential equations and the group classification is given and the corresponding invariant solutions are constructed.
