Symmetry and exact solutions of the two-dimensional Fokker-Planck equation with variable coefficient of diffusion

Abstract:
Symmetry properties of the Fokker-Planck equation in two spatial dimensions with variable coefficient of diffusion are investigated.Using the substructure of the invariance algebra we obtain the differential invariants and construct some classes of the exact solutions of this equation.
