The Harrison-Estabrook Method for Finding Symmetries

Abstract:
This presentation will review the use of differential forms and Lie derivatives to find symmetries of differential equations, as originally presented in B.K. Harrison and F.B. Estabrook 1971, J. Math. Phys. 12, pages 653-666.  An outline of the method will be given, followed by examples and references to recent papers using the method.
